“Let me talk to you how I began to working with youth and children in my community. Since 2000 I have been worked with a group of friends from Santa Helena California USA. The first project that we carried out was to building a baseball stadium for the community Empalme de Boaco this way I got a strong feeling and involved me to develop sport. After we finish building some part of the sits row for the stadium we went to the bordering communities to form children and younger teams. We organized 10 teams and made an independent small league and we formed two teams that went to represent at the first youth professional league the two teams were the champion of Boaco city and they went to the represent Boaco city in many national tournament. During the trajectory of the little league have been benefit three communities where we have built three baskstop on their baseball field. We worked with a young group they wanted to organize a basketball team in my community, we didn´t know how to play this sport. We didn´t have a basketball court too, so I wrote a proposal to build the basketball court and I tried to find support with Santa Helena friend and one peace girl was the way to building the court and that day was born the new boy team from Empalme de Boaco. The team have been represent us in three municipal league in Teustepe town.

At present I ´m working on stadium wall or fence construction the teams Empalme de Boaco and Santa Helena are supporting paying the worker that are building the wall or fence and also a friend Jake Sheideman from Santa Helena California lend us a money with free of interest for building the wall. All work that we have done in different communities has carried on for persons without any profit, the idea is to help the people. This money will recover selling spaces on the wall or fence for business propaganda the cost will be $750 for three years this way will let us to get back the material money at the moment we have sold 12 sight or wall space each one is about 6 meter. This have been one of my successful sport organize and I have involve many people from the communities. To make aware for to work and take care what have done and support to the children to start. I feel proud to work end help the children, my motivation is that I am young with wishes to form the best in baseball from my town. One of my dream is to have a children’s stadium with all baseball equipment so they will attend their practice, every children will go and a coach will waiting for them with time for them and will no cost nothing for the children. I am coaching an adult team we call the league mayor A the team is one of the best from Boaco city. I am training children from 9 to 11 years old. I will organize the third little league in my community with four teams. Also I´m supporting rural league supplying them with use equipments that I get from friends as bats and balls. I am volunteer and work with Santa Helena group in social projects. This year I will be a graduate civil engineer at the Universidad Tecnológica Nicaragüense UTN and I work in formulation and preparation of project into the metallic structure area. I´m a buiding contractor, I´m a producer organic honey and I´m writing a proposal to create employment through the honey production the idea is give the opportunity to youth that could not continue study so they will get work.”
