5th Annual Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners Fox Cities Golf Outing
Another great day for the Annual Wisconsin/Nicaragua Golf Outing! Forty-eight golfers and numerous workers participated in the 5th Annual event at Winagamie Golf Course near Appleton on July 28. The group not only played golf, but had lunch and enjoyed bidding for the raffle/silent auction items for this fundraiser. Mark your calendar for next year's event on July 27, 2011.

In cooperation with the coffee growers of Nicaragua, Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners of the Americas, Inc. is selling fair-trade coffee. For those unfamiliar with fair-trade coffee, it is that which is guaranteed to be grown in Nicaragua. Nicaraguan fair-trade coffee ensures that W/NP's importer/distributor is purchasing beans from democratically-organized groups of small, Nicaraguan farmers.
You can order a one-pound bag of coffee for only $10 ($1 shipping). If you don't drink coffee, Nicaraguan fair-trade coffee makes an excellent gift for coffee drinking friends. They'll appreciate the thought and effort you've taken to give them the best drinking coffee available, for life is too short to drink cheap coffee.
By buying Nicaraguan fair-trade coffee, not only are you financially supporting the independent, coffee farmers of Nicaragua, but you are also ensuring that W/NP can continue to provide assistance to rural families in Nicaragua.
