The Citation Award

The Citation Award is given to a group of individuals, an organization, or a corporation that enhances the partnership through their support. Such contributions can be in the form of lending or assisting in project development through monetary or in-kind donations.

This award is given as recognition to a person who has gone the extra mile in a quiet manner. The task they decided to take on (or that was dropped in their lap) has been accomplished without publicity or recognition. Without this acknowledgement, few would be aware of their dedication and commitment to the activity.

This award is given to a project developed within the Partnership by volunteers. Following the spirit of the Partnership, each partner, Nicaragua and Wisconsin, work together to plan and implement an activity that makes a major impact on civil society.
